DA-03 polishing pad
DA-03 foam pad has been developed to enhance the performance of PAICAR 03 refinishing polish, especially when used with a rotorbital polisher. The blue foam of the DA-03 pad is designed to remove holograms, as well as minor defects and medium to fine scratches, working effectively on most paints on the market.
A medium-soft foam was selected for the DA-03 pad, with density and PPI (pores per inch) features which guarantee high durability, absolute stability, conservation of its shape and hardness throughout the entire polishing process, and a homogeneous processing, without “jumps”.
Combined with PAICAR 03 refinishing polish, the blue DA-03 pad ensures excellent finish, and allows to achieve first-class gloss. For this reason, it is often used as a final step after previous and more aggressive and coarser compounds.
The particular shape of this pad is designed to better “follow” the rotorbital movement and at the same time to allow less accessible and narrow areas to be polished, reducing the risk of overheating the surface or “burning” it. The height of 25 mm facilitates the operator’s sensitivity and allows a more stable and vibration-free process.
It is also to this end to keep temperature at its lowest that an open-cell foam was selected, which allows heat to disperse, keeping the surface cooler during the polishing process
